In Happier Times

Its all over the web today. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, after only 5 years of marriage are calling it quits. Holmes is seeking full custody of their daughter, Suri Cruise, and a substantial amount of Child Support from Tom.

Honestly, I couldn’t really care whether these two actors divorce or not. I do care that yet another child will be a child of divorce because their parents couldn’t keep it together. I know that the child will be taken well care of because both actor-parents make bank when they make a movie or work on any project they put their hands on.

Personally I can see this being good for the parents, but scaring for the child. Cruise will finally get the reality Check he needs, and Holmes will finally be able to focus on her career and her child without having to be Mrs. Scientolgy-Cruise. Imagine the passion she will put into her next role! As for little Suri, maybe she won’t grow up so spoiled and she may actually have an idea of how the real world functions.

Oh Well, RIP Cruise-Holmes.
