The week that RuPaul’s Drag U‘s current season premiered I had it saved on my tv for Autotune, had my computer open to make notes for the article I was going to write and when 9pm hit,….no Logo channel. I freaked out. What was I going to do? I scanned through all my channels 4X and found no Logo anywhere. I wanted to cry. I had nothing to watch and Logo doesn’t show the current episode online until the day after it showed on tv. I was screwed.

I thought what happened was that my housemates may have changed what channels we got so we got a better deal on our cable bill. No biggie to them, but I write an Entertainment column on a gay news site! I kinda NEED Logo for some of my sources. Well, RDU has had a few episodes now and unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to sit down in front of my computer, without being wanted by my son, so I can watch the season so far. (The kid comes first, sorry.)

It seems my housemates were not to blame for this. (sorry guys) It took seeing a posting from RuPaul on Facebook to finally find out what happened to my Logo. It seems that DirecTV dropped Logo from their options of channels because of a fight they have with Viacom.

WHAT?!? *head smoking with anger*

Well, I’m not the only one who is pissed. RuPaul is so mad about it that she wants you to complain and she demands a “Ru-pology“! I think she deserves it.
