Exposure to Lady Gaga may not make one gay, but exposure to the Florida Family Association is likely to make one dumber. The group that went after ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars has gone after Office Depot for partnering with Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation using the usual run of idiocy.
The FFA, which is really just David Caton (according to various reports), attacked Office Depot’s decision to back Lady Gaga’s LGBT youth support charity. Caton, who has admitted in the past to addiction to alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, Quaaludes, Ativan and masturbation, is also demanding that Office Depot rescind the $1 million donation. He feels that Lady Gaga sends an “irresponsible message to many teens who would have eventually chosen to be straight.”
There you have it- being straight is a choice. Given the fact that the world is being overrun with children and a population that will, soon, strip it of resources condemning humanity to die horribly, an irresponsible one at that.
The FFA also writes:
“The one million dollar pledge from Office Depot to the Lady Gaga Born this Way Foundation will influence many teens to embrace homosexuality for their lifetime who may have otherwise worked through their crisis with straight results. . .Thousands of kids who might have otherwise worked through their pubescent sexual identity issues will be inspired to accept the wrong choice based upon this unscientific, emotionally charged propaganda. What’s brave or kind about telling thousands of sexually frustrated teens that they were Born This Way when a high percentage of them would have ended up taking the straight heterosexual path for life?”
Neither Gaga, who is bisexual, nor Office Depot have said anything about the FFA’s rant. It should be noted that the evidence shows that homosexuality, bisexuality and heterosexuality are inherent and cannot be changed.
