This year Hershey’s Kisses turns 105, meaning that the first Kiss was tried by someone who probably is not alive anymore.
Just about everyone in the U.S. has tried a Hershey’s Kiss. They are little drops of chocolate. Nothing more, nothing less. Wrapped in tinfoil with a little tag of paper to help unfold it. People use them in desserts, as desserts, or just for munching by themselves. I was surprised to find out that the favored treat was quite so old. They look so young and fresh coming out of their tinfoil wrapping. So to help in celebrating a long life, I’m going to show you some of the wonderful and tasty ways that this tiny drop of chocolate has helped inspire bakers and artists alike. Enjoy!
