Get ready for it. . .soon there will be a flood of anger from all of the usual suspects including, of course, One Million Moms. The reason? Jennifer Lopez is developing a TV series for ABC Family that centers around a lesbian couple and their children. The couple- a police officer and a private school teacher- have a biological son and two adopted children. In the pilot, they also take in a teenage girl.

Deadline is reporting that the former judge on American Idol will be the executive producer and make an appearance as a guest star in the show. She worked on developing the show with her partner at Nuvorican Productions, Simon Fields. The series is being written by its creators Peter Paige and Brad Bredeweg, both of whom worked on Queer As Folk. No casting has been announced yet.
