The video, directed by King’s husband Kyle Newman and Spencer Susser, is similar to Del Rey’s other videos. The video for “Summertime Sadness” tells the story of two young lesbians who end up taking their own lives. The song may be the next single off of Del Rey’s upcoming debut album Born to Die.
