Yesterday I was (digitally) flipping through Wendy Pini’s Masque of the Red Death and was thinking about the gorgeous artwork. I had the thought that the character of Bunchh was probably an amazing drag queen, even though she/he is technically a hermaphrodite (Yes, Folks. Little Bunchh has BOTH! –Wendy told me, so it must be true). I was wondering why there isn’t more cosplay in drag, and vice versa. It opens up all new options for costuming! So – thinking on that I was fantasizing about which drag queens I would love to see as comic book characters. Here’s a few ideas:

RuPaul as…

…Savah of ElfQuest!

Poison Ivy of Batman

Thank you so much! I had fun doing the article. I would love to see RuPaul do a Savah drag/cosplay. She’s got the height and body type of pull it off well, and she looks so good in sparkly green.

Raja’s not quite dark-skinned enough, but as for features…Yeah I can see it.

When I saw this I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. Beautiful (and soooo funny!) – you know what? RuPaul really does look like Savah.
