On 21 June, a little after midnight, Chad Cobb is alleged to have phoned in a fake order to Domino’s Pizza where Ashley Biggs worked. Biggs and Cobb had a history together, and a six-year-old child together. Cobb, though, did not want to let Biggs go even though she had a steady girlfriend. In fact, Cobb appears to have had a major problem with Biggs’ sexuality and her girlfriend. He apparently stalked Biggs for some time.

Cobb was arraigned in Summit County court on 21 August for kidnapping and murdering Biggs. He has pled not guilty. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

It is alleged by police that Cobb phoned in the fake order and lured Biggs out to a vacant building to deliver a pizza. There the two struggled she and she was killed by a blow to the head. She was found later in her vehicle bound with zip ties.

Cobb pled guilty to assaulting Biggs back in 2005.
