Petition Challenges OneMillionMoms Over Attack On ABC Lesbian Dramedy

LGBT Activist C.D. Kirven has launched a petition at challenging One Million Moms over their hatred of the ABC Family show pilot developed by Jennifer Lopez. The show that Lopez has developed centers around a lesbian couple and their children. The petition notes that:

Support for the LGBT community has increased over the years as seen in recent national polls. A 2011 Gallup poll showed that 53% of Americans support marriage equality, and data continues to reflect the American public wants to ensure that all families in America are treated with respect.

One Million Moms is a project of the antigay American Family Association, classified by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a hate group or spreading damaging misinformation about LGBT people.

Please review link for more information regarding AFA’s hate group classification:

Jennifer Lopez, is an American actress, businesswoman, dancer and recording artist. She started her career as a Fly Girl on the television program In Living Color and as a back-up dancer for Janet Jackson. Lopez gained recognition in the action-thriller Money Train (1995). Her first leading role was in the biographical film Selena (1997), which was her breakthrough role, earning her an ALMA Award for Outstanding Actress and Golden Globe nomination. She also starred in the box office hit Anaconda (1997) and earned her second ALMA Award for her performance in Out of Sight (1998), which made her the highest-paid Latin actress.

Enough!!! I am past irritated with Monica Cole. This AMERICA, home of the free because of the brave. Since Cole is so disgusted with America, she needs to take the first flight out. Her hatred is deplorable. Dont like TV, throw it out. Cole will not dictate to me what I can or cannot watch in the privacy of my home. Petition signed.
