Ever since the story broke 4 days ago that Elfquest & Masque of the Red Death creator Wendy Pini‘s drawing of Bunchh, an androgynous character from MotRD, was censored by Facebook, fans have been in quite the uproar! I, personally, see the drawing as one of a drag queen trying on new accessories, but thats just me.
There have been posting of breasts and nipples of all kinds in a sort of protest against Facebook censoring a beautiful drawing of a blue-skinned, sprite-like being’s perky, pink nipples and barely showing pubic hair. The fans are out-raged because Pini’s drawing is such a beautiful piece of art, while Facebook doesn’t censor things like drunk, fat guys with no shirts on showing their hairy nipples, which I find much more offensive to my senses than Bunchh’s pert nips (and I’ll spare you the pictures of those!) But if you would like to see the uncensored version, click HERE.

Bunchh by Sonny Strait
Wendy’s friend and fellow artist, Sonny Strait, has had wonderful running cartoon commentary to go along with the controversy over Bunchh’s nekkid-ness and her true gender identity. The controversy has become so popular that LezGetReal.com is looking at some of it’s best numbers for page views to date and writer J. Wolffe (that’s me.) has broken the record for most page views for a single story (WHOOT&STUFF!!!).
Hopefully the attention will help Facebook censors rethink what they “think” we find offensive.
