30 Days Til My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic Season 3 Announcement
THIRTY DAYS!!! Thirty days until…awww crap. Thirty days until they announce when the new season will be starting. It looks like the new season will begin airing sometime in November. This is kind of disappointing. Don’t you all feel like they have decided to torture all of us fans out here? Still, this is exciting news. The above picture was sent to me by a friend, and once I verified it, I made sure to pass it along.
This weekend, The Hub will be running a mini-marathon of some of the episodes from Seasons 1 and 2. However, for those of us who can’t wait for season 3, here are the glimpses we already have, and let me say…this is especially true for us Twilight Sparkle fans out there:
(A friend of mine mentioned ‘Twilight’ and it took hours before I realized she was talking about that book/movie series and not Twilight Sparkle)

I think that it starts with twilight becoming too wrapped up in friendship that she forgot about the yearly canterlot history exam (or something like that)and then starts worrying because she didn’t study (“will I fail or will I pass”).then, they somehow reveal the lost empire of the crystal ponies, where the people are cursed to be amnesaic and not remember anything about their nation’s history. Princess Cadence tries to help, but her magic is slowly fading away, having little effect. Then they find a history book and sing while reading it ( “we can save the Chrystal Ponies with their history”). They set up the fair, and then every thing goes back to normal. NOT. The random guy who cursed the chrystal ponies comes back and does a similar curse on the gang. He also happens to restore the curse on the christal empire, so know their behind square 1. The gang then relearns their friendship stuff, get the elements of harmony, and pull a trollestia on random cursing pony, effectively banishing him to the moon. All curses are lifted, and happy endings for bronies, pegasisters, and 6 year old girls. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

I disagree that it’s some ‘new race’ of ponies because in the Crystal Fair Song, they say that Cadence from A Canterlot Wedding is a Crystal pony and they are trying to bring their culture back because their magic (I think?) is fading. And I don’t think she’ll steal anything-really unlike Twilight plus she sings about failing something as in a mark/grade because Spike said ‘How’d you do?’ That’s just my opinion though. Either way I can’t wait. Too long for a new season though!

Obviously, spike WAS talking about grades, like you said, or assuned twilight was upset about a test. At the end of the video, spike asks Twilight what it was she wasn’t perpared for. LOL!

You know what I bet will happen in the season premier? First it will start off with them getting the crystal fair together for this new civilization of ponies that’s struggling.
I’ve seen hints for it dropped in this one episode of MAD.tv.
And then Twilight learns about the crystal heart found in a golden city, which is suppose to protect the crystal ponies from enemies. Upon stealing the crystal heart though, she re-awakens this ancient curse or something that threatens to cause a lot of damage.
This makes Twilight depressed that she screwed up so bad, leading her to sing the Failure Song, before she eventually bounces back, and goes with her friends to set things right and return the crystal heart to the golden city.
Wonder how accurate this prediction is…

Thanks for the update. Looking forward to the big reveal. I’m actually kind of las they’re delaying it for so long; gives me time to work on my fanfiction stories in a clear state of mind.
You know, I was thinking. Maybe they’re delaying the season on purpose to build up the suspense and anticipation for us!

Well, yeah. I’ll try to stay true to what I was originally going for, but I’ll probably not be as satisfied with it if it gets invalidated like you said. I don’t know. I’ll see.
