AFA’s Bryan Fischer Claims Anti-Islamic “Innocence of Muslims” True

The Southern Poverty Law Center has stated that the American Family Association is a hate group. Primarily, the AFA is an anti-gay hate group, and have made several incendiary attacks against LGBT people; however, the AFA is also intolerant of other races and religions. Speaking on his radio show, Bryan Fischer attacked Islam claiming that everything in the movie “The Innocence of Muslims” was true.

Fischer stated:

“Everything it says about Muhammad is true. Now there’s an assertion that he’s an illegitimate child. I don’t know the answer to that. He may or may not be. I don’t have enough information, didn’t have time to research it. But everything else that it reveals about Muhammad, or characterizes him as, in that 13-minute trailer are true.”

In the past, Fischer has been known to make incendiary and inaccurate claims. He stated at one time that:

So Hitler himself was an active homosexual. And some people wonder, didn’t the Germans, didn’t the Nazis, persecute homosexuals? And it is true they did; they persecuted effeminate homosexuals. But Hitler recruited around him homosexuals to make up his Stormtroopers, they were his enforcers, they were his thugs. And Hitler discovered that he could not get straight soldiers to be savage and brutal and vicious enough to carry out his orders, but that homosexual solders basically had no limits and the savagery and brutality they were willing to inflict on whomever Hitler sent them after. So he surrounded himself, virtually all of the Stormtroopers, the Browshirts, were male homosexuals.

Except that this is known to be false. There is some indication that Hitler enjoyed kinky sex and was a coprophilic, but the information that we have is that Hitler was completely heterosexual.

Fischer showed himself to be anti-Semitic back in 2001 when he stated:

“Judaism has no fundamental First Amendment claims, for the simple reason that it was not written to protect the religion of Judaism. Judaism is entitled only to the religious liberty we extend to it out of courtesy. While there certainly ought to be a presumption of religious liberty for non-Christian religious traditions in America, the Founders were not writing a suicide pact when they wrote the First Amendment.”

Fischer also called for a ban on any and all new synagogues being built in the United States.
