Memo To DNC, Democratic PACs:

Sen. Mitch McConnell at the Heritage Foundation

This election is about more than just re-electing President Obama. It is about regaining control of the House and Senate in ways that assure the President’s ideas will be implemented. That means we cannot simply concentrate on those “battleground” states, but must address all the Congressional and Senatorial contests.

I can guarantee you the re-election of Vermont’s Rep. Peter Welch and Sen. Bernie Sanders. It is the other 434 Congressional races and those 32 Senate races. Here’s our idea, simple and clear, no brain-muddling philosophical arguments….

We need a series of ads, very simple ads. They start with that film clip of Mitch McConnell at the Heritage Foundation when he said the Republicans’ only job was to make President Obama a one-term president. Play the clip, then put up a boxed message “No Jobs Bill Passed.” Repeat the clip, new box, “No Tax Reform Passed.” Repeat the clip, new box, “Trade Deals Not Ratified.” Repeat the clip, new box, “Blocked Closure of Gitmo.” Repeat the clip, new box, “No Budget Deals.” Repeat the clip, new box, “No Deficit Deal.”

Get the idea? Our best message is theirs – that the Republicans have done everything they could to block this President so they could call him a failure, and that is why the Republicans have racked up the highest number of filibusters and lowest number of enacted laws in our history.

Hammer it home, in every district in America. The Party of No is not working for the American people. They are only working for their party’s power.

    A fantastic and simple idea!!

The Republicans lost me when they made that statement. I hoped it was just a bluff and political hyperbole, then they actually followed through with it.

People need to wake up to the dangerous and nasty game they have been playing.
