That said, I really take issue with your comment that Nancy hasn’t had a “large amount of success,” because that is one of the most absurd things I’ve ever heard. For one thing, she has sold Millions of records. Let’s talk numbers… 21 hits on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart, 10 Top 40 AC hits, 2 Bubbling Under singles, 2 hits on Billboard’s Country singles chart and not to mention 10 charting albums. She has recorded some of the most important songs of the Rock Era and they are still recognized today. And one of Nancy’s crowning achievments, her 2004 self-titled album, was a critical smash. It made many critics best-of lists, as well as being chosen as one of Billboard Magazine’s 10 best albums of the year.

Nancy’s legacy is one that any artist would be proud to achieve and in this day and age, it’s not likely many ever will.
