Bronies for Good has launched a sequel campaign to raise money in order to help an African orphanage become self sufficient. The aim is to help this Ugandan orphanage instal a chicken farm.
Many months ago, Bronies for Good launched their first initiative “Seeds of Kindness” in order to raise money for a couple of different causes and they were able to raise thousands of dollars for, among other projects, a village intended for street children in Burundi and a clinic in Tanzania.
They just launched Seeds of Kindness 2: Faithful and Strong. So far, they have raised some $5000.
One might even argue that their charitable work is the essence of what My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is about- caring, kindness, and helping others.
Bronies for Good stated about the new initiative:
It is our great pleasure to announce the launch of Seeds of Kindness 2: Faithful and Strong! Dozens of musicians from the pony fan community over at My Little Remix have completed a 2.5 hour long charity album, Faithful and Strong, to be offered for every donation. Moreover, the most generous donors following these instructions by December 25th will receive unique Christmas gifts donated by artists from the community!
All proceeds will go towards funding the Safe Project in Uganda, an HIV-stricken country where more than 2.3 million children are orphaned due to AIDS. By expanding the orphanage and building a chicken farm to guarantee its long-term sustainability, this project will provide to this lost generation care and education and guarantee them a brighter future.
Now, let’s go do some good in the world!
Love and Solidarity,
The Bronies for Good Team.
