Wisconsin Representative Tammy Baldwin took to the stage at the Democratic National Convention to discuss the future, her past, her candidacy, and equality. While Baldwin has never made it a huge issue that she is a lesbian, she took to the stage and talked about the GOP’s push to enshrine anti-gay bigotry into the United States Constitution even as most Americans support same-sex marriage.

Baldwin is fighting to become the Senator from Wisconsin, and she is up against former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson.
