The Frouds’ “TROLLS” Exhibit at AFA Gallery Oct. 6th

We are very excited about the publication of our newest book “Trolls”. It is our most ambitious collaboration so far and Wendy and I both feel that the combination of my paintings and drawings and her sculptures and words make this a unique and magical experience for readers of all ages.We wanted to bring to life the illusive and many -layered World of Trolls, revealing their tales, customs, joys and quirks through the mixed media of two and three dimensional artand many stranded text, taking the reader on a journey deep into this realm.
We are absolutely delighted with the way the book has been produced, and its large format makes it an especially immersive experience.
You will be able to see some of the work we created for the book at our exhibition of Trolls at AFA | NYC. Our son Toby will also have “Troll” inspired pieces in the exhibition. This is going to be a spectacular show!
Please join us in New York this October for our exhibition opening on October 6th at AFA gallery in Soho, and book signings and lectures at different venues including AFA book-signing on the 11th, a lecture and book-signing at theSociety of Illustrators on the 12th and also Books of Wonder on the 13th, and Comic Con on the 14th.
