Out Magazine featured her on the cover, among three other celebrities, in their annual Out 100 lineup of influential people. Placed in the ranks of Boy George, Andrew Rannells, and Jane Lynch, an intimidating entourage, Needles remarked, “It’s humbling to be in the company of real stars.”Musician Elton John alongside his partner David Furnish, actor Omar Sharif Jr., and British fashion journalist Hamish Bowles appear on the 2012 list. “I may consider crawling into my stage coffin until I stop shaking,” Needles added with a wink.
