1:30 P.M., WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, ALMOST THE FINAL UPDATE:
Both Arizona and California still have undecided races. In Arizona, there are three Congressional districts (First, Second, and Ninth) still too close to call, though in the most high-profile race, the one for “Gabby Giffords’ seat”, incumbent Ron Barber is trailing by 1,312 votes. In California, there are three races still undecided (Seventh, Thirty-sixth and Fifty-second). The Thirty-sixth is interesting because the incumbent is the widow of Sonny Bono, Mary Bono Mack, who is currently married to Floridian Connie Mack (is he #4 or #5?) who resigned his House seat to run for the Senate and lost last night to Democrat Bill Nelson. Bono Mack is trailing Democrat Raul Ruiz by 4,557 votes.
The other 48 have finalized their house seats.

There are a few races that have caught on in the national news, four of them because the Republican incumbents are notorious Tea Partiers.
Florida 18th, where Rep. Alan West is running against Dem. Patrick Murphy in a redrawn district. Alan West lost his seat to Patrick Murphy.
Illinois 8th, where Rep. Joe Walsh is being run over by Dem. Tammy Duckworth. Tammy Duckworth is the projected winner.
Iowa 4th, where Rep. Steve King is in a close race with Dem. former Iowa First Lady Christie Vilsack. Steve King has won re-election.
Minnesota 6th, where a redistricted Rep. Michele Bachmann is facing Dem. Jim Graves. Bachmann won by 4,207 votes.
In Florida in 2010, Republican Alan West beat Democrat Alan Grayson. Grayson was the heir to Bernie Sanders’ place as the most passionate progressive in the House. Redistricting gave Grayson another chance, and he has regained a seat in the House.
And Paul Ryan, who will not be our Vice-President, will be returning to the House.

Alan West beat Ron Klein, not Alan Grayson in 2010.
