It has been reported that Hawaii’s Lieutenant Governor, Brian Schatz, has been picked to replace the late Senator Daniel Inouye. Schatz was chosen by Governor Neil Abercrombie over Representative Colleen Hanabusa and Department of Land an Natural Resources Deputy Director Esther Kiaaina. Schatz will serve as governor until 2014′s general election.
