LGBT Gamers Calling In GLAAD Over Long Delayed Star Wars Romances

Star Wars The Old Republic is hitting their one year anniversary and there is growing frustration with the fact that BioWare has yet to bring in same-gender romances. The frustration is growing to such a level that some of the players have taken the step of bringing Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation in order to try and get BioWare to live up to their promise to bring in same-gender romances before much longer. The fact that the game went Free to Play has also meant that they are about to start having people stop subscribing until these romances are part of the game.

BioWare has been cagey about including same-gender romance options in the game. To date, they have only reaffirmed that they were going to bring in these romances, but they have not been willing to give any kind of firm date or target date, and have not explained what they are planning.

To date, the one possible target for the inclusion of same-gender romances appears to be the inclusion of the next planet to the game; however, that is kind of a rumor.
