When I was a freshman in high school I had an artist friend that liked to draw re-imagined characters from her favorite pop culture references. I thought she was awesome. It wasn’t until recently that I noticed art in much the same line as my friends’ drawings. She drew “alternative” My Little Pony(s). NOW there is a new show, the old show is now “vintage” and I’m so far behind on what the heck a “brony” is that I feel stupid. I apparently have friends that are bronies! How did I not know this???!
