Victory in Wyoming looked slim, but in the end, victory was elusive. The Wyoming House of Representatives failed to pass domestic partnerships by a vote of 24 to 34. The bill may be able to pass next session, but it may be moot fairly soon.
The push towards some measure of marriage equality in Wyoming caught some by surprise. Still, a push to end discrimination in the state has advanced out of committee by a vote of 4 to 1.
In Colorado, the bill supporting same-sex unions passed out of the appropriations committee by a vote of 4 to 3.
