Winner to be Named at Family Equality Council’s Los Angeles Awards Dinner  

WHAT: Actress Jane Lynch is offering a chance for a group of six to join her and her family for an incredible experience – a VIP Day at Disneyland!  The trip will be auctioned off February 9th at Family Equality Council’s Los Angeles Awards Dinner – which honors notables in the world of arts, entertainment, politics, and the LGBT movement for their efforts to advance equality for the 1 million parents who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and their 2 million children.Online bidding available now at www.biddingforgood.com/pier/janelynch and online bidders aren’t required to attend the event to continue bidding in the live auction!

WHO: Honorees include:

  • The NBC Network – for their consistent & positive representation of parents who are LGBT in primetime television.
  • Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe –  for his role as a vocal advocate against the law that would have banned same-sex marriage in Minnesota.
  • Virginia Uribe, the founder of Project 10, and Friends of Project 10 – for her work creating an environment for students who are LGBT that is supportive, loving, and nurturing.

Presenters include :

  • Sean Hayes, star of NBC’s long-running hit Will & Grace 
  • Andrew Rannells of NBC’s new hit show The New Normal 
  • Darren Criss, star of Fox’s Glee  
  • Comedian and actress Molly Shannon 
NOTES: When the online auction closes on Feb 8th, online bidders will be given the option to set a maximum bid for the live event, where a volunteer will bid on their behalf. Winners must be willing to negotiate a suitable date for the outing with Jane and her family, and the trip must be taken by December 31st, 2013.
