“Lesbian Love Octagon” Announces CD Release Party

HT Presents (Heidi Grumelot, Artistic Director, Erez Ziv, Executive Director), Cause Dyke Drama and Wreckio Ensemble will present the official CD release party for LESBIAN LOVE OCTAGON, a new musical comedy about dyke drama which will premiere this June at The Kraine Theater at 85 East 4th Street.

The CD release party will be held on Tuesday, January 29 from 6pm-9pm at The Dalloway (525 Broome Street between Thompson Street and 6th Avenue), a new bar and restaurant owned by Kim Stoltz from “America’s Next Top Model” and Amanda Leigh Dunn from “The Real L World”, that The New York Observer called “New York’s fanciest ‘lesbian implied’ bar/restaurant.”

Enjoy cocktails with the cast, creative team and producers as we celebrate the return of Lesbian Love Octagon to NYC in June 2013! A donation of ANY amount will get you a copy of the Lesbian Love Octagon CD, featuring hit songs from the show like: “Ubiquitous Ex-Girlfriend”, “I Can’t Deal” and “Clarity”. Happy Hour drink specials until 8pm will include $5 beers, $6 wines, $10 specialty cocktails, and $1 oysters. Enter the raffle and you could win free LLO merchandise and tickets to the show in June!

The Lesbian Love Octagon CD features the voice talents of Sarah Louise Anderson, Jenny Atwood, Felicia Blum, Katie Britton, Margaret French, Ti Grieco, Kelly Higgins, Jax Jackson, Kelly Lockwood, Mary Kate Morrissey, Lindsay Naas, and Katy Richter with Book and Lyrics by Kim Kressal and Music and Additional Lyrics by Will Larche. The album music was produced by Tara Dawn Grieco and Sound Engineered by Reed Taylor at Lofish Studios.

Lesbian Love Octagon originally received a limited, sold out engagement with Horse Trade Theater Group in November 2010. The hit show will be remounted June 5-29 at The Kraine Theater in the East Village. Tickets will go on sale April 2013.
