I always found it weird that in America we give days/months/holidays to certain races/genders/beliefs; i.e. St. Valentine’s Day, President’s Day, Father’s Day. This month has been dubbed “Black History Month“, the shortest month in the year we chose to pay attention to the history of the African-American plight in America.

Personally, I find it insulting that humans think they can make it all better by giving it a holiday in the hopes that we “never forget”. You should remember and learn everyday, not just on the specified ones.

This week’s SF are dedicated to “Black History Month”.
