As they say…all good things must come to an end. Adam Lambert announced in an interview with SFGN that he and Sauli Koskinen had split. He stated that “It’s been kind of on its way out in the last copule of months.” He went on to say that “Sauli and I remain really good friends, and I know it’s a cliché thing to say. But it’s totally true. I just gave him a coffee and bagel earlier today. He’s a great person and we’ve had an amazing couple of years together. Things have just run their course.”
It is not surprising given the issues that they have faced. For instance, Koskinen is from Finland and while the two seem to have spent a lot of time going back and forth, that can be problematic for both of their careers and their ability to spend time together. Koskinen is a Finnish entertainment reporter, TV host and radio personality.
Additionally, in 2011, the two were arrested in Helsinki after an argument lead to a physical fight, though that seemed to be rather minor.
Kosinski wrote about the incident saying “Fame is not easy. Celebrities are only human. Love is not easy either, but it is forever!” Lambert tweeted that “Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it.”
Still, Lambert attributes the break up to various scheduling conflicts saying “I’ve been getting really busy and traveling a lot and and he’s been getting really busy because he has a show he’s filming for Finnish television. So we just decided to part ways.”
At least the couple chose to spilt while they were on amicable terms. News is that one of the actresses from Game of Thrones is facing a very bitter divorce that has left her practically destitute. Or for that matter, the split between Melissa Etheridge and her wife which has been all over the papers for years.
