Two Lesbians Harassed, One Stabbed After Incident At PA McDonald’s

Flag_of_Pennsylvania.svgA McDonald’s bathroom is probably not the best place to get close for any couple. Unfortunately for one lesbian couple, an alleged tryst in the restroom ended in a stabbing.

According to Upper Darby, PA police superintendent Mike Chitwood, the manager at the McDonald’s informed the two women to leave after finding them ”in a bathroom and engaged in some type of sexual activity.”

Chitwood also said that, as the two women were leaving, they exchanged heated words with some of the other customers. The quarrel escalated and the crowd followed the two women out of the establishment. At some point, one of the people in the crowd stabbed one of the women in the shoulder. It is not clear what they were assaulted with. According to Chitwood, one of the attackers yelled “Get [out[ of here, you dirty dykes.”

No arrests have been made yet, but police are releasing footage in order to identify the suspect. They believe she is a 40-year-old mother of two, and she is believed to have instigated the attack.  No word if the attack on the two lesbians is being treated as a hate crime.

The victim of the stabbing was treated at a local hospital. Her injuries were non-life-threatening.
