Anthony Weiner Admits To Sexting Through Last Summer

Why does Jon Stewart have to be off making a movie right now? His ex-roommate Anthony Weiner may be about to have a second fall, and it appears that he’s being tripped up by his schlong, again. Weiner, in a press conference, did not step down even though he admitted that the texts were his own. Weiner did admit that some of the texts and explicit conversations occurred after he resigned from Congress even though they had already come to light.

Weiner’s wife Huma Abidin took to the podium to deliver a few words. She basically talked about the pain of having to go through the scandal that pushed Weiner out of Congress.

Unfortunately, Weiner may have slipped and basically continued to engage in these explicit conversations well into the summer of 2012.

Weiner is currently running for Mayor of New York City. His lead rival is NYC Council Speaker Christine Quinn. How this will affect the race will take a few days to determine. The primary is set for early September.

Recently new explicit pictures and texts from Weiner showed up on the internet. There have been competing claims regarding when these sexually explicit conversations happened. Some claim that they are about two years old before Weiner left Congress and some claim more recent, as within the last year. Unfortunately, Weiner would not definitively state when the explicit conversations occurred and that likely means that he will run into problems in the long run.

The new conversations surfaced on TheDirty. They reported that a woman not his wife “really thought Anthony Weiner and her were in love, they spoke on the phone daily multiple times a day for 6 months. Anthony Weiner played with her emotions and mind. Most calls were phone sex. . .He promised her many things including a condo in Chicago (1235 S. Prairie Ave) where they were planning to meet up to have sex,” the post continues. “Anthony Weiner has a shoe fetish, particularly heels.”

Initially, Weiner denied that they were his, but later issued a statement saying “I said that other texts and photos were likely to come out, and today they have. As I have said in the past, these things that I did were wrong and hurtful to my wife and caused us to go through challenges in our marriage that extended past my resignation from Congress. While some things that have been posted today are true and some are not, there is no question that what I did was wrong. This behavior is behind me. I’ve apologized to Huma and am grateful that she has worked through these issues with me and for her forgiveness. I want to again say that I am very sorry to anyone who was on the receiving end of these messages and the disruption that this has caused. As my wife and I have said, we are focused on moving forward.”
