Magnets! Chibuihem Amalaha of Nigeria believes that the best argument against same-sex marriage is magnets! Never mind the fact that magnets are not people, nor are they organic, and are completely governed by the rules of physics and geology, but, hey, why let that get in the way of a good analogy, right?
Amalaha claims that his “groundbreaking” experiment shows how the north and south poles of two different magnets are attracted to each other and how the identical poles of the magnets repel each other. Or, to put it another way, the magnets are really into sixty-nine.
Of course, Amalaha claims that his little ‘breakthrough’ “means that man cannot attract another man because they are the same, and a woman should not attract a woman because they are the same. That is how I used physics to prove gay marriage wrong”.
Amalaha went through the usual rundown of high-school scientific experiments showing that negative ions are attracted to positive ions saying that “That is what electrolysis is showing us, that gay marriage is wrong in the area of chemistry.” Which is true since I’ve never heard of an ion requesting a marriage license- gay or otherwise.
Oh well, he also claims that biology proves that homosexuality is wrong noting that “We have seen that the female of a fowl is called hen and the male of a fowl is called a cock. We have never seen where a cock is having sex with a cock and we have never seen where a hen is having sex with another.”
Of course, he might want to get down to the farm a bit more often. You know, maybe actually watch as female animals mount female animals and male animals mount male animals. Or maybe, you know, have a bit of fun watching the bonobos. There is quite a lot of evidence showing that homosexuality is perfectly natural and biological.
But that doesn’t stop this guy from claiming that he is the first to scientifically prove that same-sex marriage is wrong and that “In general, same sex marriage is evil. It should be stopped by those practicing it”.
He’ll be most disappointed to find out that various anti-gay activists have “proven” that homosexuality is unnatural just the same way.
