the article by P.S. Carbonell entitled: Welcome To Medicare for the Disabled. Could you please forward this message to the author?

I'm in a similar boat as you. I was considered 100% disabled, with no residual ability to hold gainful employment, in 2008. I live in Long Beach California. I used to be an extremely well paid Computer Engineer. I paid so much into Social Security that my monthly SSDI is too much for me to qualify for SS Supplemental Income, or California Medical Medicaid. I make ends meet among other things by renting out two room in my home to friends. I also have chosen to use a Medicare Aggregator (an HMO). Using the right one, has given me complete medical care with no yearly deductible, no copay for regular office visits OR specialists. No deductible or copay for hospital stay, no deductible or copay for generic medications, and alternating years they cover Vision and Dental. I haven't paid a dime for my medical care in the last four years. During that time I've had my Gall Bladder removed, Critical Ruptured Appendix removed, Toe Surgery, and 5 days of tests after a possible heart incident.
I know some people's medicare costs them, but careful selection of your provider can make a big difference. If you have any questions, please contact me. Craig Braquet, Craig@CraigsHouse.Org
