LesbiaNation.com evolved into SheWired.com in 2008.

SheWired.com Senior Editor Tracy E. Gilchrist announced the transition by saying:

While the Web remains a relatively young media outlet compared to newspapers, radio, film and television, LesbiaNation.com, at 11 years old, is ancient by Internet terms.
